Golf and the madness

Friday 11 July 2008 @ 6:23 am

Not like any other sports golfers tend to become more and more obsessed with sport, taking lesson buying great amounts of equipment , and always believing that they are only one step away from a great success. Unfortunately there is no fantastic secret or one day wonder and even the latest golf equipment the same that Tiger Woods play with from Nike
wont bring the move from rabbit to tiger. I once heard that playing golf for many people is like go fishing every day of your life and never catching a fish, lots of people play golf their whole lives without ever realising what it’s really about. There is probably no sport in the world that has so many fans who not only love the sport but at the same hate it.

There is probably no other that so much equipment gets broken after a bad shot or a foul mouth outburst comes. The golf sport has probably cost more marriages as any young women.

Neverless the golfer comes always back just one more round until perfection one more driver from the golf shop or one more tip from the pro. But the day where the golfer beats the golf course never ever come but the hope never dies. I do not believe that there is any other where so many stories are told or exaggerated or even made up. But even when every thing has been said and done golf is the sport that we all love and is the sport that has changed our lives. However for some people the life is better with golf for others it is not
long live golf

Golf club Fitting

Friday 11 July 2008 @ 6:22 am

When you interested in starting to play golf or if you are looking for a new set of clubs, its always very important to make sure that the clubs fit perfectly to the person who wants to play with them. Golf clubs are very much like a pair of shoes they look very similar, but if they do not fit properly it is almost impossible to play with them.

There are three major elements that are important when fitting a set of Golf clubs. Firstly the shaft has got the have the correct flex if it’s to soft the ball will always go to the left. The second most important element is the lie, the lie is the angle between the club head and the shaft, if this angle is false the golf ball will not only travel in every direction but straight, the shots will be hit thin and fat. The third important elent to a club fitting is the grip ,the grip is often made thicker or thinner to allow the golfer to grip the club correctly. The grip also controls how the hand works through the shot.

Now the most important part is to get Professional advice you can go to your Golfshop or to a Golf Professional who really has years of experience and definitely knows what to do. Quite often it is possible to pay a Golf Professional for his time and then to buy the golf clubs from an Golf online shop where very often the assortment is greater and the prices are normally cheaper. There are a lot great websites online where it is possible to read about all the new Golf clubs and the newest technology one very interesting website is http://www.golfakademie.eu

Golf und Germany

Friday 11 July 2008 @ 6:21 am

The golf sport is becoming more and more popular especially amongst ordinary German people. Martin Kaymer has had in 2008 a great deal of success winning in Dubai and also in Munich at the BMW open. Martin Kaymer still only 23 years old is now fighting for a Ryder Cup place at Walhalla in September. The German public are buzzing with excitement at last a new world star to replace the amazing Bernhard Langer. Even so the sport is still just beginning to become popular and is still along way from being as popular as in the United or in Great Britain. Alot of the reason why is that in Germany it necessary to take a test to be allowed to play on a golf course, Golfers in Germany must not only prove to have the necessary playing ability, but must also take a written test over the rules and the etiquette, this test is known as the´Platzreife. The golf player must then play 9 holes within a period of two hours and twenty minutes with not more than 60 shots.

Even after completing all the necessary tests the golf sport is still very expensive a normal Golf membership ( Golfmitgliedschaft) costs on average around three to four thousand dollars. Even the golf equipment in Germany is at least fifty percent more expensive a normal iron set for example from Callaway costs at least 1500 dollars. All these reason stop the golf sport popularity increasing at a bigger rate, with luck Martin Kaymer will qualify for the Ryder cup and the publicity will enable Germany to add considerably to the 900 golf course that already exists. Golf on the whole of Europe has increased amazingly over the last 20 years and I am sure it will eventually become as popular as in the United States.

From Postal Zones to ZIP + 4

Friday 27 June 2008 @ 6:40 pm

Zonal Improvement Plan (ZIP) code system, introduced to improve sorting and delivery of mail, has been around for more than 65 years. A ZIP code identifies a specific geographic mail delivery area, which makes it convenient to deliver the mail on the correct address.

In 1943, the US Post Office Department adopted the postal zones for large cities, which were simply 1 or 2 digits representing the specific zone in the individual city. E.g., Minneapolis 16. The ZIP codes, as we know today, came into being in 1963 and owe their origin to an employee of the post office, Robert Moon. Resultantly, the existing codes for postal zones were preceded by 3 digits describing the Sectional Center Facility (SCF). An SCF that is assigned the first 3 digits sorts the mail for the postal zone described by the last 2 digits. E.g., Minnesota 23716 (237 depicts SCF Number and 16 depicts the Postal Zone).

To further pinpoint the accuracy of the address on the mail, Zip + 4 system was adopted in 1983, which uses the ZIP code plus 4 additional digits to identify a geographic segment within the ZIP code delivery area (like apartments, city blocks etc.). E.g. CA 95823-5429.

With over 43,000 ZIP codes in US and more than 25,000 monthly changes to
ZIP code data, it makes sense to have a
ZIP code database always at your disposal for quick reference. You can easily
download ZIP codes program in a multiple format with the option of regularly updated Zipcode database.

Car Leasing

Friday 6 June 2008 @ 6:35 am

Car leasing may be a good option for those individuals or companies that want to have a new car but want to save some of the money it costs in full car ownership. Car leasing is a way to rent a car over a specified period of time. The car is not owned by the person or company leasing it at any point and at the end of the lease, the car is returned to the dealership or the car leasing company.

There is a deposit associated with car leasing. This initial deposit is non-refundable and is simply a way for the leasing company to protect themselves. After the initial deposit, the person or company leasing the car will pay a monthly amount that has been agreed upon by both the individual and the car leasing company. The term of the lease is usually approximately two or three years however, it is possible to lease a car for a year or even less.

Leasing a car is not the same as taking out a car loan. The largest payment that is required is the initial deposit and that is usually only about one, two or three months total of the monthly lease payments. This allows the person or company leasing to keep their money in a high interest bank account and to simply make the lease payments as part of their monthly living expenses. This can be especially useful to companies that want to lease a company vehicle. They can then take the payments out of operational expenses rather than out of capital expenses.

Because the lease will usually be less than three years, the car will always be covered under warranty and it will not require an MOT. This means that the person or company leasing the car will not need to worry about major repairs. The only things the person leasing the car needs to worry about are routine services such as oil changes and consumable items such as tires. These items are not usually a great expense during the first three years.

Another benefit of car lease or contract hire is that a person or company may change their cars every few years. This is beneficial for many reasons. The first reason being that the individual or company will not need to worry about their car breaking down all the time as it gets older and becoming more of a burden rather than an asset. Another benefit to leasing is that the individual or company will get a new car every two or three years.

Changing cars every few years is made so simple by car leasing. It is not necessary to try and sell the car before another car is obtained. Instead, one car is simply given back to the leasing company in exchange for a different car. It can be lots of fun to try out different cars all the time and will save the hassle of major repairs and grief.

There are so many advantages to car leasing it’s easy to see why it’s becoming so popular. An individual or company you can save a lot of money and hassle by simply leasing a car instead of buying it outright.
